Installation Problem
Hi,
I've run into a problem when installing Fedora Core. I have two HDs and set up as follows: HD1: two partitions, XP(C/) and a 4G partition for Red Hat 7.2 (not yet installed) HD2 (80G): formated into 4 partitions, two of which I want to install Fedora and Debian. I have used Partition Magic and pre-partitioned the HD before I tried to install Fedora. When asked to select a partition to install, both my intended linux partitions yields a "cannot install because root directory is not defined" error message. Is this message due to the way I partioned the HD? Any help will be greatly appreciated!!! Cheers! anzan |
In the installation make sure that you mark the parition as the "/" root partition and not just mark it as a partition you want to format.
