installation of vlc

i am not able to intall vlc in fedora.
plz tell me step by step........
i have install fedora 12.....

Did you go through the vlc site and follow their direction? What error messages did you receive when you tried to install?

you can also use yum utillity

through root

yum search vlc

then

yum install vlc

if you do not find vlc in search process then you have add repo
you may have to add this at /etc/yum.repos.d/

kb.repo mirrors-rpmforge rpmforge.repo

search for that

warning! mixing repo will break your system. i suggest just follow instruction from thorkelljarl.
