Installation of HP Laserjet 1000 printer on RedHat Linux 9 on VMware


I want to install HP Laserjet 1000 printer in it, I try it to install but it is not.
please help me to install it.

In Printer Setup its show HP-1000 Laser Jet recommend "pbmtozjs" but when i print the documents it is not showing in Printer Queue dev/lp0/.

Distribution: Switched to regualr Ubuntu, because I don't like KDE4, at all. Looks like vista on crack.....

Is it a usb printer ? You have to click on removable device section of the vm tab/drop-down-menu in vmware, then and only then will the guest os look for and find the printer.
