Linux wireless is in its adolescence right now, so support can be hit-and-miss.
You may wish to start by asking the moderators to move this thread to the Wireless Networking forum so your question will be more likely to get the attention it deserves.
I recommend you start by checking out the
hcl to see if there's an entry for your card, then by familiarizing yourself with
A Survey of Linux and Wifi.
You'll probably be using either
madwifi, or
ndiswrapper, there may be other options, but my D-Link card uses madwifi, so that's where my driver research stopped.
If your card is on
this list, you know you'll be using madiwfi. If not, google around to see if you can find out what chipset your card uses.
