Installation Mandrake 8.1

I burned a cd (Mandrake 8.1 disk1) form ISO.
The cd doesn't boot so I booted from floppy, then after welcome screen loaded I got a message telling me that I do not have the correct cd in my cd-rom drive, but I did and there is no problem with my cdrom drive. Now I am stuck.

Also in the help files theres a directory list and according to that there must be a "lnx4win" dir on the cd, it is not.

sounds like a bad burn.. or you just burned a large .iso file onto the cd... if you browse the cd from windows.. is there only one file.... if there is, then you burned it incorrectly and need to re-burn it. what software are you using to burn with ??
