Installation Question for you.

I am attempting to install RedHat 8.

I've downloaded and burned the three .iso images to CD.
I have created a boot diskette.

The system boots, detects hardware, ask language and where I am installing from. I select the CD.

I receive an error message that the installation CD was not found.

When I look at the CD on a windows computer, the psyche-i386-disc1.iso file is there.

I have also tried booting to this CD, but that of course doesn't work.

Any suggestions would be great.

You need to burn them specifying that your burning a cd image or iso file. What you've got is a wasted cdr with a big iso file on it. What program are you using to burn with ?

I am using adaptec ez-cd creator

Usually with adaptec you can actually just double click the iso file and it should launch automatically to start the burn process.
