Installation Dependency Issues

Hello,
I'm having some problems downloading some applications. I was hoping to download Gimp but it says that i'm having problems with the dependencies.
Does anyone know what to do??

We could be of more help if you can tell what distribution you are using and what are the methods you are using to install Gimp. It should be available in the repositories of your distribution if you are using package management. But it will vary from distro to distro. If you could say what distribution you are using and what are the errors you see on the screen.

It would be a lot of help to us if you could post exactly what errors you're getting, i.e. what dependencies are missing. Basically if an installer complains about missing dependencies you install the dependencies first and then the program. So help us to help you and post the errors please. And always mention what distro you use including the version please.
