Install that is not in Linux format

Hey, I just installed Linux onto my laptop [yes, I'm a N0000000b.] I've had enough with Windows and it's B.S.

I'm currently using an Aircard for my internet and there is no Linux install for it. I've read about having to change the source, but right now since I'm so inexperienced with it, it's gibberish for me. Does anyone have advice in layman's terms?

The Aircard is Cingular/AT&T Sierra Wireless 875 for the PC slot. I have Fedora 7.

Thanks

I'm sorry I forgot some info, but you guys don't need to get an attitude.

You could try informing people which version of Linux you installed. Also provide some information about this "Aircard", like make and model numbers.

Dude, let me know in detail..
1. Which Linux Distribution have you installed ???
2. And 'AirCard' : Its Brand, whether support USB or PCMCIA

How-to use a Sierra Wireless 875 card on Ubuntu Gutsy

using the Sierra wireless 875 on Linux

Strangely enough, you will find that Sierra Wireless does in fact provide a driver for the Sierra Wireless AirCard 875 for Linux. However, they will not provide support for it, should you need it.
This card is also listed in the Linuxquestions HCL
