Cool install Thai fonts - thanks LQ and Barry Kauler

I was trying to install Thai fonts. I did a search in Linux questions and someone said do this

# fc-cache -fv

which seemed to do something and did not report an error.

However, no Thai fonts.

Then somewhere else someone said you have to restart X, so I did Ctrl+Alt+Backspace and guess what?......IT WORKS. I can read Thai fonts in Firefox.

So, thanks LQ.

Also, if you've never tried Puppy linux, try it - it's the bees' bollocks.
