Smile install Script-Fu's

Hi to all,

my OS is ubuntu 12.04.
I have installed gimp 2.6 and now I wish to add a Script-Fu that I obtained from a tutorial - named :ev_iccii_photoeffects_246.scm.

1. to find the path, I opened gimp - edit>preferences>folders>scripts,
here a window opens with the following information in 2 rows:
/home/(my user-name)/.gimp-2.6/scripts

2. do I need to assertain the path for the photoeffects file?

3. How do I install/add the above scm file to gimp using the terminal command line? I'm worried about making a complete mess of my 'puter.

any help will be much appreciated.
