Install question

I managed to get to boot and it is saying that it is going to partition the drive.

The Clio has ROM and I added a CF. Is it possible this process will damage the programming on the ROM?

Your post is rather incomplete..

What Distro did you install ?
What kind of hardware did you install it on ? Is Clio some sort of device ?

ROM is READ ONLY MEMORY so apart from component failure or physical damage you shouldn't be able to corrupt it.
