Install Python 2.4 on RHEL4 x86_64 - cannot find cc1plus?

Trying to install Python-2.4.3 on a 64-bit RHEL4 machine. Configure complains that it "cannot exec 'cc1plus' - did I missing anything before run configure tool? Thanks.

Make sure that you have installed g++.
