Install Novell SLED 10 without Windows partition

I installed Novell SLED 10.1 without a single problem.
I have some limited knowledge of Linux
Q:The 40GB HDD was completely reformatted and I expected SLED to use 100% of the HDD WITHOUT allocating a partition to Windows.
I wanted a SLED 10.1 installation completely free of Windows [XP Pro]
Please advise...TIA.../Geoff, a.k.a. Hizzoner

I am not following here. Your installation did not use all of your hard drive space? is this correct. If you could post the results of fdisk -l and df -h

I re-formatted the 40GB HDD.
Then installed Novell SLED 10.1 Desktop
Discovered that 13+GB of HDD was still reserved for Windows. I then made use of the Windblows partition and installed Win XP Pro.
Now to the real point: I wanted SLED 10.1 to use 100% of the HDD WITHOUT ANY space for Windows*
Question: How can I re-install SLED 10.1, using 100% of the HDD?
Your patience is very much appreciated.../Hizzoner. a.k.a. Geoff

When prompted select use entire hard driver. This will be sometime during your installation. I am not that familiar with the installation of SuSE

in the installation to the partitioning part choose tha hd or sd full disk usage for installation but before that go to expert tools and resize your disk giving to linux the space left(windows size will be blue in that partition and scroll the bar to the left making it white so as to give space to linux)
