install local dir as yum repository
Hi I have yum installed and working but what I want to be able to do is store an rpm in a folder called base on roots fedora 2 desktop. Well I have actually done this but I dont know what to add to yum.conf to make a local machine directory into a repository rather than baseurl which would be on a indepemdent web server. Can making directory repositorys be done? and what goes in yum.conf if this is the case?
Any help greatly appreciated David |
