Install Linux ISO directly off 2nd hard drive?

Hi.
I'm using Mandrake 9.1 and Windows 98SE on my computer. I'm looking to use Mandrake 10.1 now, but my CD-RW drive is toast and the floppy drive isn't any better. I have another hard drive that I could hook up and copy over a 10.1 iso file to, so is there any way that I could basically use that hard drive like a bootable CD or floppy? Like set it to be the 1st device loaded in the bios..and tack on some kind of parameter to mount and load that iso. Any ideas or suggestions would be really appreticated.

Iirc, there was a way to do something along those lines with rh, around 8.0. But even then you needed a special boot floppy. I think it was called "network" install. I don't have any idea if mandrake ever supported this. Without a working cd or floppy drive, you have a real challenge. Maybe time to break open the piggy bank?
