Install from ISO/DVD problem
I ahve already tried burning to DVD and copying, but the copy keeps stalling. I am am trying to install UT2004 onto SuSE 9.3 (fully updated), and I can't run the setup file properly, as I can't get to it through Konsole, I don't know how., so If assumed copying to my home dir would do the trick, and now I can't do that, so I guess its more either:
How can I get to a DVD dir through Konsole? -or- How can I copy files from an ISO file or disc to my Home dir? KDE 3.4.0 "b" Linux Kernel 2.6.11 - default i686 SuSE 9.3 Fully updated. Thanks in advance for any help. |
Hi,
On your UT2004 CD/DVD there is an installer script. It's extension is named .run or .sh. Find the file, then copy it to your homedir. After that open up a termial and write: Code:
sh nameofyourfile.run |
Thanks
Seems to work, thanks.
