install face recognition software on fedora
hi,
i am new to fedora ,can someone please help me to install face recognition software on my fedora 26 desktop . Also i want learn more on using terminal for working on with fedora. Between 1 to 10 my level of understanding of terminal is may be 3rd.

Welcome, but web-searching may find ideas instantly.
Also, note the 'Similar Threads' at bottom of page.
Also, Searching (both LQ and web) will find tons of bash tutorials.

Hello and welcome to LQ.
There are a few open sourced projects for this.
For general information. You should always try the available software in the package manager for your distro. Then you may wish to branch out to packages that have been built or available outside your distro. In your case look for .rpm package. Lastly is most difficult for new users. That would be to build from source.
If you tell us which program you wish to install, we may be able to assist.

fedora sould have ""OpenCV" in the repos
that has the needed algorithms for face rec and tracking
but you have to write the code you need
