Install elinks on terminal only Slackware
 

Hello all Folks,


i am completely new to Slackware, i wanna master Slackware, but i am having some difficulties , for example i do not have any idea of how to install Elinks on Slackware where my Slackware is only Terminal , no windows.

Furthermore i would like to ask , How i am gonna improve on Slackware or any Linux distributions, how did you guys start and how did you manage to master Linux?

I started at the command line, it was basically all there was for me as I didn't have internet access until much later, & that was via a modem. ;)

Basically, you just need to try things, read the man pages, & experiment.

You'll probably get good at re installing, as you mess around with the system, but it does teach you what not to do. Learn by your mistakes is how I got where I'm at, in the main, with some help from others at times.

The time to ask questions is when you can't find the answers after reading man pages, checking books, looking online, then people will willingly assist you. Enjoy the journey. :)
