Hi All,
Thanks again for the guidance.
I have had a few issues - CentOS7 and Fedora 21 for some reason seems to fail for a custom partition - had this multiple times now.
The custom partitions seemed to fail when i was creating partitions for /usr, /var etc.
I was able to custom partition the initial Cento7 on the hard disk with /home reduced and a new partition /apps with the majority of the required disk space - this worked.
Same with Fedora 21 - i had the disk to hand so it was easier.
I used the CentOS 7 application to delete the LVM's etc, Format etc,. that had failed for Fedora 21.
I then reinstalled Fedora 21 with /home and /apps as custom sizes, and it worked.
Was not able to report the bug as i do not have an account. It does seem to be breaking out the standard directories as custom partitions causes the issue.
Thanks again for all who responded - has helped a lot. I can dual boot now - which is what i wanted - will now try the third installation.
Regards,
Shadders.
