instal rh9 in SATA HDD keeping Windows in IDE
 

Dear all:

I have installed windows on an ATA HDD now I want to install RH9 in a serial ATA device. RH9 installation broke after try to run the graphical interface it crashes when tries to access the serial ATA device. I have a P4P800 (Celeron 2.8GHz) motherboard and SATA device is a MAXTOR 6Y120M....

I have tried to install RH9 on the serial ATA drive when it was unformatted (single Disk on my PC) and then tried install W2K in the ATA device (both cases slave and master, the latter is the present jumper's configuration). and RH on9 on seriale device

I'll appreciate any help... there is no need to state that I am a newbie.
