inserting advertising header and footer with transparent proxy
 
Hi, managed to get MOD_LAYOUT to insert header and footer in every page served, but wondering if it can be done on a transparent proxy so my Hotpoint for Free WiFi Internet can be paid for by ads. Thank You in Advance.

Maybe access mod_layout stuff by routing traffic through Apache? Else if you're Evil maybe you could force some breakage by using Javascript in your portal pages that only allows them to access pages whilst inside the frameset and use one frame for ads?
