Insert Primary User (PU) activity model in ns2 CRAHNS

Hi. I'm totally new to ns2 and I want to simulate two Primary User activity model which are on/off markov chain and on/off exponential distribution. But I don't know what file to change in order to integrate PU activity model in ns2. Can anyone help me? Thank you

Did you read the "crahn-ns2" threads ?
http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/tags/crahn-ns2/

PU activity is ns2-crahn
https://books.google.dk/books?id=Wda...0model&f=false

Figure 11.7: NS2-CRAHN architecture.

The PU activity is modeled by the exponential ONN/OFF model [50], where
each PU has two states: an ON (busy) state representing the period in which a PU
occupies the channel, and an OFF (idle) state representing the period in which the
channel can be used by a CR user. Switching between the ON/OFF states follows
a birth-death Markovian process. The ON/OFF states of channel i follow
exponential distributions, with TONi and TOFFi, respectively.

Re #2.

I guess you will have to read all the NS2-CRAHN text in the book referred to.

And find out if it's the same "CRAHN" as the TFRC-CRAHN, i.e. PU activity may already be present.
