Inittab: Command for switching display to tty2/3/4/...

I'm editing my inittab and on some runlevels, I have a number of things happening on various ttys (or vcs). However, I can't figure out what I need to do to switch the display automatically to a specific console. I know that there is some command or other that I could insert in my inittab but I can't remember it. In short, what is the command equivalent of Ctrl+Alt+F2?

chvt X

where X is any existing tty number.
