Exclamation information needed abut linux repo's in yellow dog 6 on ps3

ok so from what i have found as far as repos go there are a couple of sites that i can use to d/l packages from

http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pu.../extras/6/ppc/

AND
http://pleasantfiction.ipower.com/ps...ata/index.html

is there ways to set up yellow dog 6 to download packages from both sites?

I'm assuming Yellowdog uses Yum to install it's RPMs.

A google search on "yum add repository" should point you in the right direction.

do a vanilla search for the words: yum add repository

The beautiful thing about linux software is that in most cases, it doesn't differ from distribution to distribution. yum is yum, samba is samba, cups is cups. Different distributions will sometimes place their config files in different locations, but once you identify the config file, you can search for them.
