indent shell script


can Anyone give me indent shell script. indent is a command we used for backup

no clue what you're talking about. You'll have to explain in more detail. Indent is something used to format code, e.g. C programs, by indenting to make it more readable. indent for backup? shell script for indent? What, exactly, are you talking about?

I have an indent command on my system, but as already pointed out by choogendyk it is an utility to indent C code. It can make a backup copy of the original code, but I'm not sure if it is what you mean. Here is the link http://www.gnu.org/software/indent/. Most likely you will find a binary package of this in your linux distro's repository.
