It can be defined as a variable, or defined as a preprocessor macro

there is NO linux based Operating System called " linux2.6.35"

now there ARE linux OS's that are using the 2.6.35 version of the Kernel

RHEL 6.5 or CentOS 6.5 and a few others

and did you try using Google for that " cacheline_aligned "
