Talking import site failed


Can anyone provide assistance. I have changed out the RAM, HDD and CDROM in an attempt to resolve my problem. The problem is I am getting " import site failed; use -v for traceback. Does anyone know what this means and how to resolve it?

what & where do you get this message? during boot up? please explain some more!

I am in the process of install. It happens immediately after the Media Check option.
