I'm having a headche with IMAP. I can't seem to get it started, whenever I try to connect to port 143 I get a connection refused error message. The sevice is enabled in /etc/xinetd.d/imap I don't know where else to look for configuration. errors.
After a 2 days headche I got the error by running
/usr/lib/courier/sbin/imapd start , the output complained about a typo error in /usr/lib/courier/etc/imapd conf file.
Now everything is again all down to configuration.
