Anyone able to get ubuntu hardy Xorg working with an imac. rage 3d/mach64

Of course they have - the people who tested the image to start with.

Hows about telling us about your problem?

I finally have it working. An education, but what a pita...
After a ton of research...............
installed xserver-xorg-video-ati-dbg
added modules for drm and mach64 and did depmod -a
After that Xorg.0.log did not see to have any real issues.
Added correct freqs and resolutions to xorg.conf
(I used this page as a guide: http://pingswept.org/xorgconf-for-xubuntu-on-g3-imac/)

I still have to do some more research to see if I can get compiz to work.
