iMac Not booting PLEASE HELP

*333Mhz iMac w/ 192 RAM
*Ubuntu 5.10
*Kernel 2.6.12-10-powerpc
*yaboot 1.3.13

After updateing and restarting it when through the normal boot faze....
Ubuntu bootstage >
Yaboot >
Then it when to Apple's Firmware and is stoped there... normally it flashes Apple's Firmware for a slight second then goes to the Ubuntu Booting

Also: It won't boot ANY CD I've tryied Ubuntu(5.10 and 6.04), Yellow Dog, Disk Warrior(PPC computer Disk utility), and Gentoo
...could the cd drive be dead/dying... i've burned install cds for Ubuntu, Yellow Dog Linux, and Gentoo and none of those are booting... the drive spins the disk but doesn't do anything b/s that when i startup holding "c"

Thanks In advance

Suggestions I've gotten...

First of all, don't assume that the cd is dead. Get a cleaning CD and clean it. Oh, and just a personal question. Is this the third generation iMac? What MacOS did you run on it? Sorry for this flash, but I'm getting myself an iMac 3G and wanted to know...
