Icinga2 installation

Hi All,

Wondering if any of you using Icinga2?

I am having trouble installing it.

Under the "Database Resource" setup page, I got this message, after trying to validate my configuration. And the same error message under "Monitoring IDO Resource" setup page.

Quote:

Failed to successfully validate the configuration: SQLSTATE[HY000] [2054] The server requested authentication method unknown to the client

And at the end of the installation, I failed to set up Icinga Web 2. And this error message showed up:

Unable to create user group "Administrators". An error occured:
ERROR: Zend_Db_Adapter_Exception in /usr/share/icingaweb2/library/vendor/Zend/Db/Adapter/Pdo/Abstract.php:139 with message: SQLSTATE[HY000] [2054] The server requested authentication method unknown to the client

PS. Rumor has that this is a good application to learn.
