I810(0) No video BIOS for chosen depth

Hi All. I am on my 4th install of RH9.0. Before I get to the first LOGON screen I get a graphical error:
I810(0) No video BIOS modes for chosen depth.
Screens found, but none have a useable configuration.
Fatal server error: no screens found

I have a DELL M992 monitor and the install detects it and fills in the horizontal/video sync rates (could they be wrong).

Any ideas on how to get by this. Happy holidays and thanks all.

and what sort graphics card have u got?

Do a rescue and edit the inittab to get you into run level 3. Lots of people have problems with X on install. I wish distributions would give you an option of changing the run level on boot, i.e. in one of the setup menus. Newbies end up having a box they cannot use just because x windows will not start, this seems a silly situation considering x is only a small part of a Linux distribution.
