Oops, please elaborate further and explain your issue. Crystal ball on this forum, does not work properly.

What was the last thing you did? that causes this error?

Most probably, the issue is related to RAID. Hopefully, you don't have important data on the storage.

Check out this link, might give you an idea: https://forums.unraid.net/topic/7191...y-cant-use-it/

As soon as I boot up my Debian machine, I see this error message :i801_sambus 0000:00:1f.3: transaction timeout , and it stops for 3 or 5 seconds before continuing to boot. This seems very strange, and I have been suffering from this error on my Kali Linux machine for the past few weeks. I have not been able to start my machine because of this error. I booted from a live usb and recovered my data, reinstalled the whole system, and installed Debian, but the same erorre ,but this time on debian he let me in he let me bootup the computer , but the erorrw is stell thier

Could it be a hardware issue? Motherboard? Have you tried other distro like Ubuntu or Rocky?
If it works on other distro then it could be a driver issue on the Distro you are trying to install.

Or check if there's a BIOS update for your machine, be careful though. If you load a wrong BIOS your system will be unusable, make sure you know exactly what you are doing if you are doing BIOS upgrade.

Yes, I've traded other distros like Kali and Red Hat but it's the same problem, the same probleme , Once he displays the GRUB animation, the palymothe animation starts after the error is displayed for about 5 seconds. It's like a warning sign that something isn't good, wath does mean "smbus" acording to wekipedia :The System Management Bus (abbreviated to SMBus or SMB) is a single-ended simple two-wire bus for the purpose of lightweight communication. Most commonly it is found in computer motherboards for communication with the power source for ON/OFF instructions. and this is wath i founde on chat gpt :Yes, that is correct. The System Management Bus (SMBus) is a simple two-wire bus that is commonly found in computer motherboards for communication between various components of the computer system.

The SMBus is typically used for low-speed communication between components, such as between the motherboard and the power source, as you mentioned. It can also be used for communication between other components, such as temperature sensors, voltage regulators, and fan controllers.

The SMBus is based on the I2C (Inter-Integrated Circuit) protocol, which is a simple and widely used protocol for communication between integrated circuits. However, the SMBus is a subset of the I2C protocol and has some additional features, such as clock stretching and a mandatory ARP (Address Resolution Protocol) procedure.

Overall, the SMBus is a useful and widely used communication protocol in computer systems, especially for low-speed communication between components that do not require high bandwidth or complex protocols.

Do you think that's a hardware problem? I think so after looking on the internet

Most probably yes, have you tried installing Windows? If also SMBBus error then I guess could be a hardware issue.

Or try this: https://gparted.org/liveusb.php

Boot to liveUSB, if you don't have any important data. Do a complete format or wipe your disk.

After wiping try installing Ubuntu, don't install Kali or RHEL. Check if it goes well. Good luck!

I'm pretty sure that you've got a hardware problem on that motherboard and I recommend that you replace it. It can only get worse ... until it finally turns into a brick.

I agree, because if it were a software problem, it would go away when I installed another distro, but this isn't what is happening
It's a pleasure to be a part of this community, I really appreciate your feedback
