i195 problem


hi im trying to get my X working but i cant
i have an intel extreme graphics 855gm
i tried to follow gentoo guide about X11-drm
but it just got worse when i compile my kernel i get this error
WARNING: /lib/modules/2.6.15-getnoo-r1/x11-drm/i915.ko needs unknown symbol pci_pretty_name

and when i boot i get an error about i915 unknown symbol pci_pretty_name anyone know what this error is and how can i fix it

when i type startx i get
i810: no matching device section for instance Busid

The use of pci_pretty_name appears to have been fixed (via code in
drm_compat.h) on September 17th, 2005.
