I want to run EssentialPIM.exe from my SD drive. I click on it and nothing happens.
I downloaded Essential PIM from essentialpim.com, followed the directions and it won't run. The terminal will show up for about 3 seconds with the field blank then disappears and nothing. I tried going into the terminal and type cd /media and then ls -d */ but I can't see the directory "Essential PIM" where the .exe file is located.
open synaptic package manager and type "wine" in the search-box...if it is not installed, proceed to mark it for installation and apply changes...
once it is installed try running your win executable again.
anyway, you might find this page helpful...
