I want to join a open source project about linux, how to?
 
Hi there, my friends and I are interesting in joining the open source project. It's very cool to share our own software to everybody. but we are new guys on it. can you help us? even an address of open source website can help us! thanks

Go to either Sourceforge or Freshmeat and look around for a project you find interesting. Submit patches, fixes, features. That's pretty much it.

OpenSuSE always welcomes contributors even if they are just regular end user, They can write to the Wiki. http://www.opensuse.org , Give it a shot and see how you like it.
