I downloaded it, installed, but...
There still something is wrong. It isn't playing. It even doesn't show mp3 file in playlist. I think I did all right.

Right click on xmms, go to Options > Preferences
Under the Audio I/O Plugins tab locate the MPEG Layer 1/2/3 Player plugin (libmpg123.so - at least that's what it is on my system).
Click on it. Make sure the "enable plugin" checkbox is checked. Click the configure button. Then click apply and then ok.
See if that works.

Now I know what was the problem. I actually didn't installed that plugin.
But now I did. And I can open mp3, in the player it looks like the music is playing, but no sound is coming out from speakers.
At Sound Control I turned the volume on, and mute isn't enaled. What is the problem?
I know, that when I was installing the linux, with the testing sound everything was OK.
And plying Audio CD in XMMS is OK, it has a sound.

Can anyone help?

I have two soundcards.
And now I noticed that was selected wrong card. But now I selected it corect, and now I could hear the test sound.
But the music still doesn't give a sound out of speakers.
