I NO NOTHING! Please help
I am as we speak downloading a Linux iso FC2-i386-DVD (Can allmost hear them laughting)
I am sick of windows and all the shite you all no doubt no about so a guy i met at a computer market with a T shirt with a penguin on it said check out linux is SUPER COOL GREAT.......... I exscaped this strange person but decide to check Linux out anyway Ok the download 62% done :'( What the hell do i do now? Any help guys i just about worked out how to log in ok and allmost had to ask for help so ya got ya work cut out Ape AKA not a mensa canidate ;) |

Burn it to a CD (be sure to burn it as a disk image), insert into your disk drive, reboot, and install Linux. You might try a LiveCD like Knoppiz first to get an idea of what Linux is before risking your current Windows install.

They have alot of common Linux distros They also have a bunch (left menu on page) of toturals on downloading linux, and how to burn the downloaded image (usaly an ISO) to a CD |

I have used nero without problem or trouble for 5 years nows give or take and so why is it i cant burn this stupid linux iso? I download FC2-i386-DVD I run nero I selected it came up with a error "The entered block size does not curaspond to the image lenght." So like the forum sejested i set the peramaters as it told me but nero wont have it I have downloaded four vershion of the file incase i got a dodgy one (Thank feck for broadband) But no wont have it i even tried the ignore but when I rebooted i got the old this in not a linux disk routeen. Ok I give up what me doing wrong If anyones got the time then next 10 years should do it email me plz! THESHAVENAPE@HOTMAIL.COM Ta |
