I need to install a Canon PixmaMP190 on a EeePC900/Linux. No help from Canon,

How do I install this printer on my computer ? The Canon people say they do not have a driver but they did direct me to site in Spain, No luck. Is there another Canon printer compatible with the MP190.?

canon does not seem to give a crap about linux users. Gutenprint lists support for the MP180. It may or may not work, but it's worth a shot. Gutenprint
