First of all, that's not how it works here. LQ is a volunteer site and as such, people only reply when they are able to. If you need urgent support, then consider paying for it.

Secondly, why don't you get the source for any shell and use that as a base?

Use the Search feature before asking a question here and also show some efforts on your part.

Spell your words out, and if you're too lazy to look for and download the ALREADY AVAILABLE source code for the existing Linux shell's, then why should we be bothered doing it for you?

theNbomr 11-03-2010 09:32 AM

In the Linux spirit, you are empowered to create your own. If you have a specific problem with part of that, show what you've done, and we will try to help you fix it. Two things we don't do are your homework and jumping to your schedule. You do the first one yourself, and there are paid consultants available for the second one.

Please (not plz) give the question patiently.

It's a one line question from a first time poster. A Troll for sure.....trolling for fun and games.

I don't take it as a serious question, and ignore it.

right tell you what boy, your best bet is to become familiar with the kernel, its many different forms and its modular construction in relation to how it works and why it is broken into these parts.

How does this relate to creating a shell?
