I need Mac Address Authentications on MSN & Yahoo Messenger
 

Hardware Layout:
I have a windows machine with Windows Xp 2006, which i am using to get downlink from dish and uplink from local ISP; attached with a Linux machine; to control user accounts.

Linux Version:
I am using RedHat Enterprise Linux with squid.

Problem Definition:
I hv applied Mac authentication, it is restricting only the browsing but not stoping MSN or Yahoo messenger. Plz tell me how can i stop individual user for any kind of service.

Request:
I am new to linux so, not familiar with linux syntax or commands. therefore, i need a code to insert in my squid file.

Hello,
I am not sure coz at one stage i hv used iptables, weather that was for mac address, i dont know, but the changes i made after which mac address got enabled, were in squid configuration file.
