I need help with wifi
 

I just installed fedora 16 kde on my dell xps and the wifi wont work it notes the wlan but says unavalable

Run the command lspci in a terminal; you may need to be root to do so. It will report what kind of wireless chip your computer has, along with some other stuff.

Since it's a Dell, there's a good chance it's a Broadcom chip. If so, this might help:

You will need a wired connection to do this.
