I need a COMPILER


can someone link me a Complier for Redhat and how to install it...


I've had linux for 1day now and i dont know anything so pls be detailed.

BTW, if you can keep the language to a minimum/nil that'd be excellent! We do have young kids browsing this site after all.

Anyway, a compiler:
You have a compiler on your install CD's. It's GCC. Open up your RPM tool (whatever you use to install RPMs) and install GCC and all it's dependencies (there are a lot).
