Question I need a Book on Fedora for a Newbie?

I would like to start using Fedora for a DNS server, and eventually a proxy server. But First I must learn to crawl...So I need a book on Fedora Core 8. Are there any books you experts know of...Anyone???

By the way I had Core 6 on a laptop for years, I understand some basics of it as a workstation, but nothing in the way of its' server capabilities.

I am comfortable with Windows servers and Mac Servers.

It's not of extreme importance, but Fedora drop the 'Core' part with the end of Fedora Core 6. It's now known as Fedora X. They're now releasing distro's every 6 months with the most recent one being Fedora 8 Werewolf. The next one is due out in April of '08.

As for books, try your local Barnes and Noble. In my recent trip there, I haven't seen one for Fedora 8, only 7. You may want to pick it up as Fedora doesn't go against the grain from distro-to-distro. I also can't imagine that picking up a generic book on Linux would hurt you either. I also haven't seen any server books for Fedora. Not saying that they don't exist, I've never looked for them.

Happy hunting,

Brandon
