Hi,
did you select the appropriate monitor? This sounds heavily like standard VGA. Select the correct monitor model, or if you know the specs of your monitor insert it manually. |
hello sir, how to Select the correct monitor model?

Hi,
what about running Code:
system-config-display |

Anyway, the important question is what window manager are you using? If Gnome, then go into System->Display Configuration and change your resolution. If KDE, then go to Preferences -> System -> Screen Configuration, change the settings and pray. If you change it, hit apply, and it goes back, don't be discouraged. Hit CTRL+ALT+BKSPC a couple times to restart X, and then weep if it didn't take. _O_ |
