I lost my Partitions using GParted!
I am currently running off of an Ubuntu Live CD.
I have a 160 GB HDD with Windows XP Pro installed on it. It had three partitions (~ 5GB, 70GB, 80 GB) on it. The problem was that the 5GB partition was the OS partition. And since there was plenty of space on the other partitions, I thought I would just shrink one of the larger ones and grow the OS partition. I heard that Ubuntu was a good newbie-Linux. So I made me a CD, ran it, and started Gparted. I attempted to shrink the larger partitions to free up some space. Then, it said there was an error and suddenly all of my partiotions disappeared! I am still running off the CD and have not changed anything. Is there any way to recover my lost data? Thanks for any help you can give. |
Anyone?
