I just don't get it - Re-configure PHP on new RH 8 install

I am just not getting it. Someone please help!

I installed RH 8.0 and want to "re-configure" PHP (which was installed by default when I installed RH *.0).

All I want to do is "enable" (using the --with-ibm-db2=/db2usr1/sqllib) so that PHP will work with DB2.

I have searched high and low for an installation procedure that works for RH 7.2, PHP, Apache, and DB2. So I tried RH 8.0 and still can't find documentation that works.

Please help.
