I hit new updates and afterwards my flashplayer no longer worked ?
 

I hit new updates and afterwards my flashplayer no longer worked any idea what happened? I try to it just says I need additional plug ins and when I try to download them I can't or better yet I don't know how if some one can help me I would greatly appreciate it. I am not too computer literate but I can follow directions so if you can explain to me(in a non technical term way ;)--) I can do it thank you!

It might help to answer if you start the browser that you use the flash player with in a terminal - just type 'firefox' or whatever. Will it be 'gnome-terminal' on your thing? Then try to run the flashplayer as you normally would.

The point is the error messages for what is wrong may now be written into the terminal. If you still cannot fix it then click and drag across what it says and post it here.

and PLEASE inform us as to WHAT distro you are running and What version it is .

also as to HOW you installed the flashplayer .
