I have never seen linux before tonight company started using linux

I hope i am in the right forum. The company I work for installed a lapsite at the site I work at, I need to know how to find the wireless network password used to get access. I tried looking for properties on the strength indicator on the start bar but it did help any suggestions? thanks in advance.

Hello and welcome to LinuxQuestions,

Are you looking for the password that's configured on your computer to gain access to the WiFi network? Please indicate what distribution of Linux you're using (CentOS, Fedora, Debian, Slackware, ...) and what desktop environment (Gnome, KDE, Xfce, ...). With that information we'll be able to give you a more dedicated answer.

Looking forward to your participation in the forums. Have fun with Linux.

Kind regards,

Eric

The whole point of a password is that you can't just discover it! It wouldn't give you much security otherwise. You need to ask the systems administrator at work what it is.
