i have black screen on fedora core 6
 

i tried to change the resolution of the monitor and then a message apeared and it says that i had to reboot, and when i did, i get the black screen, somebody help me!

What happens when you try "startx"?

Try editing /etc/X11/xorg.conf as root and change the resolution back to what it was.
